Have Questions About Medicare? Join Us for a Free Class at The Cedars of Austin
Medicare comes with plenty of questions, and understanding the different parts can be a good place to start. Whether you’re learning about Medicare for yourself or helping a loved one, The Cedars of Austin invites you to a free Medicare 101 class on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 1:30 PM.
Jessica DeShaw, Senior Agent with C.W. Moline Insurance, will lead this educational session in our Community Room. The class is open to the public, and you do not need to be a Cedars resident to attend.
A Place to Start
The session will introduce the basics of Original Medicare and the key components of Medicare Parts A, B, C and D. It’s an opportunity to become more familiar with the terminology and build a better understanding of how the different parts fit together.
The focus will be on general Medicare education. Specific insurance plans will not be discussed.
If you’re approaching Medicare eligibility, want a refresher or are helping a family member understand Medicare, we welcome you to join us.
