As we celebrate 40 years of serving our residents and their families, we want to take a moment to say something simple:

Thank you!

Thank you to the residents who have chosen to call The Cedars home. Thank you to the families who have placed their trust in us. Thank you to the team members, past and present, whose compassion and dedication have shaped our community over the last four decades.

Most importantly, thank you to the Austin community.

Since opening our doors in 1986, we have been fortunate to be part of a community that values neighbors helping neighbors, strong family connections, and caring for one another. Those values have guided The Cedars from the very beginning and continue to shape who we are today.

Our recent 40th Anniversary Ribbon Cutting Celebration gave us an opportunity to reflect on just how many people have played a role in our journey. While much has changed over the years, one thing has remained constant: the support we have received from this community.

We are incredibly proud of our history, but we are even more excited about the future. As we look ahead, our commitment remains the same—to provide a welcoming place where older adults can live with confidence, dignity, and purpose while continuing to be an active part of the Austin community.

Forty years is an important milestone, but it is also a reminder that our story is still being written.

From all of us at The Cedars of Austin, thank you for allowing us to be part of this community for the past 40 years. We are grateful for your support, honored by your trust, and excited for the years ahead.
